DEFINITION:

PRAM check is the safety measure described in the nomenclature for commissioning and current operation of electrical installations. The purpose of this procedure is to determine the quality of the protection achieved by grounding the electrical installations (earthing) and the system that ensures the protection of the installation and buildings from atmospheric electrical discharges (lightning arrester).

CAUTION: The main dangers of working with electricity are:

  • electrocution and burns on contact with live parts

  • injury caused by arc exposure, fire caused by non-compliant equipment or faulty electrical installations

  • explosions caused by faulty electrical appliances or by static electricity, which can ignite flammable vapors or dust

  • electric shocks that can cause various types of injuries

NOTE:

In case of non-compliance with the legal requirements regarding the exploitation of electrical installations, the fines are between 5,000 and 10,000 lei ! None of the RSGE clients paid a fine!
